I love being a wedding photographer
There are a number of good reasons why I love being a wedding photographer.
To begin with, every wedding has elements of art, and it is putting them all together that makes me happy as a professional wedding photographer. I get to take the color, texture, composition, and light that is always there – whether the event is grand or intimate – and use them all to make artistic, long-lasting memories.
As your wedding photographer, Let me tell your story
Secondly, there is the element of story. Each couple has one to tell. Every story has its own interest and the character is unique. It is my goal as a wedding photographer to convey that story, so that later when the photographs are viewed, the story tells itself.
Don’t overlook the important element of satisfaction in being able to provide clients with exactly what they wanted – or may not even have known they wanted! In front of a camera, happy newlywed lovers (with stories to tell) need to feel relaxed and be able to enjoy themselves, even if they have never been professionally photographed before.
When I see this happening as the session proceeds, I feel absolutely great! Being able to identify what people need, how they might feel in certain circumstances, and generally empathize is crucial to being a wedding photographer. And so rewarding!
Those who toast the bride and groom
Guests are important, too. As a wedding photographer, I have the pleasure of not missing a thing! It’s part of my job! And I love being on the spot. I love catching the reactions and responses of all the people participating in this special day. I love capturing that moment of spontaneous joy in their smiles, in their eyes, in their gestures! They are an integral part of the wedding. They share the happiness, and shared happiness just gets bigger and bigger!
