Here in this Mediterranean capital, the Gothic Quarter has been standing for centuries. Some of those stones have been here since the Romans! Who would have thought during the age of the Caesars and the gladiators, and later, in the Medieval Era, that those walls would provide such fabulous backgrounds for the modern, newly wed couple? But they do!
Of course, brides and bridegrooms are always beautiful. Their happiness makes them so … but put them on the stone stairways, between the columns, under the arches, or giving each other loving looks on the paths of the Gothic Quarter, and a photographer can make their perfect wedding day both timeless and intimate. Curious, isn’t it, how charming the preponderance of stone can be? It’s all about the Art, with a capital A. And as human beings are the only real artists on earth, it’s all about people.
This beautiful couple started their day in a central hotel, getting dressed and preparing for the wedding vows they were going to take later. Once everyone’s tie was straight, makeup was perfect, and hair was done, we all headed to the site of the ‘I dos’ and the signing.
